About Diane Lee

Hello! My name is Diane Lee and I’m law student and self-published author from Adelaide, South Australia. In 2016, left my home to volunteer in Hanoi, Vietnam, where I was based for four years (until 2020). While I was there, I freelanced as a content and travel writer.

I have a Master of Arts in Communication Management from the University of South Australia, where I graduated top of my cohort in 2008. In 2023, I started a law degree.

I have spent a large portion of my working life in education, either directly or indirectly and I’ve also worked on projects for government, travel, tech, content agencies, tech start-ups and social enterprises/NGOs.

Creative writing

I enjoy writing creative non-fiction, personal essays and memoir, which you will find in copious amounts here on my site. These are “think” pieces where I’m trying to unravel and work out a problem creatively because I’m one of those people who does their best thinking by writing.

I’m also currently a bit obsessed with writing flash fiction pieces, and I have had some success with publication since I sauntered down this road.
